Review removal for agencies

Sooner or later, an agency client asks about a bad review. These are the questions agencies and resellers tend to ask first, with straight answers, so you know what to tell a client before you promise anything.

Do not bother with this shop. I run the place next door and we do it better.

  • The reviewer says they run a rival business
  • Posted to pull customers away
  • A clear conflict of interest
Qualifies. Goes on the sheet as conflict of interest

The short version

  • Send every client's review links in one sheet, with the client named on each row
  • We mark each link as likely to qualify or likely to stay, before you quote your client
  • Updates come to you, written so you can pass them on under your own name
  • You pay per removed review, never for reviews that stay up
  • Real reviews that follow the rules usually stay, so never promise a client otherwise

How agencies work with us

Agencies and resellers use us as the removal team behind their own service. You keep the client relationship. We do the checking, the reporting and the follow up, and we send the updates to you.

It runs the same way as for a single business owner, only with more links: links in, a verdict on each one, a quote, reports, updates, and payment only for reviews that are removed. Our guide on how review removal works covers each step in detail.

Bulk links in four steps

One sheet for all your clients keeps every link and every update in one place.

Build the sheet

One row per review: the link from the share option on Google Maps, and the client it belongs to. A short note on why it looks wrong helps.

We mark each row

We read every review and mark it as likely to qualify or likely to stay, with the rule it breaks. Then you get a quote.

You brief your client

Tell your client which reviews are being worked on, as part of your own service and at the price you set for it.

Updates per row

We update each row as it moves and send the news on WhatsApp. You pass it on in your own words, under your own name.

White label, in plain words

We talk to you, not to your clients. Updates are written so you can forward them as they are or rewrite them in your own voice, and our name does not need to appear anywhere your client looks. You stay the expert your client hired.

Setting honest expectations

The quickest way to lose a client over reviews is to promise too much. Do not promise that every bad review will go, and do not promise a date. Say instead that each review will be checked against Google's rules, that the ones breaking them will be reported, and that the client pays only for reviews that are removed.

When a client asks why a harsh review is staying, our guides on Google's review policy and why Google did not remove a review give you the plain answer to pass on.

What to put on the sheet

  • The review link, copied from the share option on Google Maps
  • The client or business name for each row
  • A short note when you know something, such as a former employee or a rival
  • Who on your side should get the updates

As long as each link is clear and tied to a client, the layout of the sheet is up to you. More on the agency side of things on our page for agencies.
