Remove Offensive Google Reviews
A customer can call your service slow. Nobody is allowed to threaten you, use slurs against your staff or post someone's home address. We report reviews that cross that line under the rule they break, and you pay only for reviews that come down.
The owner is a disgusting idiot. People like him should watch their backs.
Why are you reporting this review?
- Off topic
- Spam
- Conflict of interest
- Profanity
- Bullying or harassment
- Personal information
What Google counts as offensive
Google's contribution policy has several rules for abusive content. Harassment covers threats, bullying and sharing someone's private details to target them. Hate speech covers attacks on people for their race, religion, gender, disability or similar traits. Offensive content covers personal attacks and claims of crimes or unethical behavior with nothing to support them. Profanity used to offend or to stress a complaint is not allowed, and neither is sexual content.
Harsh is not the same as offensive. Words like awful, rude or useless aimed at the service usually stay up. The line is crossed when a review goes after a person rather than the experience, or when it puts someone at risk.
Each rule is set out on Google's prohibited and restricted content page. The sections below show what that means for the reviews on your profile.
Signs A Review Crosses The Line
Any one of these can be enough to report a review, which is not true of most other review types.
Aimed At A Person
The review insults you or a named member of staff instead of talking about what happened.
Threats Of Any Kind
Lines that suggest harm, such as watch your back or we know where you live, even when written as a joke.
Private Details
A phone number, home address, health matter or family detail about someone at your business.
Claims Of Crimes
The review calls you a thief, a fraud or worse, with nothing in it to support the claim.
Hate Toward A Group
Attacks on someone's race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality or disability.
Swearing And Slurs
Swearing or sexual remarks used to offend, or to stress a complaint.
Which Abusive Reviews Qualify
Abusive reviews are often the clearest cases, but we still check each one before any work starts.
Offensive Reviews We Work On
- Threats against you, your staff or your property
- Hate speech and slurs of any kind
- Home addresses, phone numbers or other private details
- Claims of crimes or fraud with nothing behind them
- Sexual comments about staff, and profanity used to attack
What Usually Stays Up
- Strong words about the service itself, such as rude, slow or awful
- A real customer who names a staff member and says they were unhelpful
- Sarcasm or a mocking tone with no attack on a person
If a review frightens you or your staff, send it to us anyway and deal with the safety side first.
Safety comes first
If a review threatens you, a member of staff or your premises, take a screenshot with the date showing and keep it somewhere safe. Talk to the local police if you feel at risk. Reporting the review to Google matters, but it does not replace taking care of your people.
Tell the staff member involved before they find it themselves. Being named in a public review is upsetting, and knowing the business is dealing with it helps.
How we handle offensive reviews
Send us the links on WhatsApp. We read each review against the rules on harassment, hate speech, personal information and offensive content, then tell you which ones qualify and why. The quote covers those reviews and nothing else.
We report each review under the rule it breaks most clearly and follow up until a decision comes back, keeping you posted on WhatsApp along the way. A review that stays up costs you nothing.
Replying to an abusive review
You do not have to reply to a review that only insults or threatens. If you do, keep it to a line or two, do not repeat the insult, and never share anything about the reviewer. A calm answer next to an abusive review shows readers who to take seriously.
Abuse often comes from a former employee or a rival. If that fits, see our pages on former employee reviews and competitor reviews, or read our plain words guide to Google's review policy.
From link to removed
No forms and no accounts to set up. The whole process runs on WhatsApp, and you always know where each review stands.
Open the review on Google Maps, tap share, copy the link and send it to us on WhatsApp. One link or a whole sheet both work.
We read every review against Google's rules, tell you which ones qualify, and send you a quote. No surprises.
We report each review that breaks the rules and keep after it. It is often fast, and we keep you updated on WhatsApp the whole way.
You pay per review, and only for reviews that actually get removed. If a review stays up, you do not pay for it.
Worst place ever. Do not waste your time or money here!
Offensive review questions
No. Being rude about the service is allowed. A review becomes offensive under Google's rules when it attacks a person, threatens, uses hate or slurs, or shares private details. We tell you which side each review is on.
A real customer can mention a staff member by first name and describe what happened. Insulting that person, making sexual comments about them or posting their private details is a different matter, and that can be reported.
It can. Google's rules cover claims of crimes or unethical behavior with nothing to support them. A review that explains a real dispute in detail is a weaker case than one that simply calls you a fraud, and we tell you how strong yours looks.
Google's profanity rule covers swearing used to offend or to emphasize criticism. A single mild word in an otherwise fair review is still a weaker case in practice, and we tell you so before any work starts.
If you feel at risk, yes. Keep a dated screenshot and the review link. Reporting to Google is a separate step, and we can handle that part while you deal with the safety side.
